This watermelon cocktail is perfect to share with your friends on a warm summer evening. It doesn’t matter if you are in the park, in your garden or somewhere on a rooftop (lucky you), this drink will make your night special! This mint-infused watermelon cocktail is a combination of green apple, watermelon, lemon and your preferable alcohol, mine is rum so it feels a bit like a Watermelon Mojito. You can also skip the alcohol and just have it as a delicious mocktail.
It’s incredibly easy to prepare this heavenly good homemade watermelon cocktail, all you need is a blender and a great company to share it with! Unlike most bar cocktails, or the mixed alcohol drinks you can buy at the supermarket, this one contains no added sugar and all ingredients are guilt-free, besides the alcohol of course. When you are out, having fun you shouldn’t worry too much about your figure and just enjoy yourself, but it’s good to be aware that most cocktails are a sugar bomb. This is because of the syrups used by mixologists. Grenadine is a popular red syrup that could add a few tablespoons of sugar to your drink. If you would like to know which are the “healthiest” alcoholic drinks you can have when you are out, see my healthy DRINKS guide.
As I mentioned, you can forget about the alcohol and enjoy this as a refreshing summer mocktail that is full of natural fresh fruit goodness and infused with mint flavour. It just tastes like summer!
